Robert F. Kennedy

From pain comes wisdom...

Even in our sleep,
pain which cannot forget
falls drop by drop upon the heart,

through the awful grace of God.

Bobby Kennedy recited this Aeschylus poem during his ad hoc eulogy of Martin Luther King. On April 4th, 1968, Kennedy was campaigning for the Democratic Presidential Nomination. He was supposed to deliver a stump speech in Indianapolis, but he learned of MLK's death en route and quickly changed his address. They are some of the most inspiring words I've ever heard.
